🍁 Finding God in the Colours of Autumn

As autumn unfolds, the world seems to glow. Trees turn golden, paths crunch beneath our feet, and the air carries that unmistakable mix of freshness and change. It’s easy to pause for a moment and feel that sense of wonder — God’s creation in motion.
Autumn often feels like a season of endings: leaves falling, days shortening, light fading. But it’s also a time of rest and renewal. The trees aren’t dying — they’re preparing. Nature teaches us that change isn’t something to fear; it’s part of God’s beautiful rhythm.
Just like the seasons, our lives move in cycles too. There are times of growth and energy, and times when we need to slow down and recharge. Even in those quieter, darker days, God is still at work — in us and around us.
So, as the daylight fades, look for the small signs of God’s presence:
✨ A smile from a neighbour
☕ A chat over a warm drink
🍂 Frost sparkling on the morning grass
These little moments remind us that light and love still shine through, even when the world feels dimmer.
This autumn, may we notice the beauty in change, and trust that God is with us through every season.
Where are you seeing God’s light this autumn?
