As we journeyed through the past month, our hearts were stirred with gratitude and joy for the beautiful moments we shared in worship and fellowship. It's been a month filled with warmth, appreciation, and the unity that binds us together in faith.
We've been blessed to see our sanctuary filled week after week with over 50 souls, ranging from the tender age of one to the wise years beyond 80. Together, we've embraced the richness of our congregation's diversity and the beauty of our shared journey in faith.
One of the highlights was our heartfelt celebration of Mothering Sunday, led by our dear Benjamin. It was a time to honor and appreciate all who nurture and care for us throughout our lives. Each person received daffodils and a prayer card, symbols of our gratitude for those who often go unnoticed but deeply impact our lives.
The message we carried home that day echoed in our hearts: "A time for warm thoughts and fond memories, for expressing feelings that often go unspoken. For letting those special people know they are loved and appreciated always."
As Passion Sunday approached, Deacon Jenny guided us through an uplifting service, inviting us to reflect on faith, sacrifice, and renewal. Then, on Palm Sunday, our young people took the lead, infusing our worship with youthful energy through songs, drama, and heartfelt prayers.
And finally, Easter Sunday dawned with joy and hope as we celebrated the resurrection of our Lord. Our day began with a festive breakfast, followed by a deeply moving worship service and the sharing of Holy Communion. The Easter Cross, adorned with flowers, was taken into the gardens, symbolizing the new life and hope we find in Christ.
In every moment of worship and fellowship, we felt the presence of God binding us together as one family. As we continue on our journey of faith, may we carry the spirit of joy, gratitude, and community with us always.
Hallelujah!
