Holding One Another in Prayer

Prayer is one of the quiet strengths of church life. Often unseen and unspoken, it binds us together as a community — holding joys, worries, and hopes before God.
This month, we continue to remember those among us who are unwell in body, mind, or spirit, as well as those awaiting appointments, treatments, or important decisions. We trust that God’s presence surrounds each person with comfort, patience, and peace, even when answers feel slow or uncertain.
We also give thanks for moments of change and new beginnings, such as David settling into his new home. Times of transition can bring both excitement and anxiety, and prayer helps us place these moments gently into God’s care.
Alongside thanksgiving, we also share sorrow. We hold Paul and his family in our prayers following the passing of his father, asking that God’s love and strength sustain them during this time of loss. We also remember Vera and her family as they continue to grieve the passing of her son-in-law, Paul. In moments of loss, words often fall short — yet prayer remains, holding grief with tenderness and hope.
May we continue to carry one another in prayer, trusting that God listens with compassion and walks beside us always.
